about

The "Do The Cosmic Crab" single is a collection of field recordings and studio play, composed and arranged during the artists’ residency at the Deering Estate 2017-18.

"DtCC" is comprised ENTIRELY from field recordings and manipulations thereof of crabs eating crabs under Biscayne Bay, near the famed ‘People's Dock,’ off the The Deering Estate boundary.

"Soundguide Improvisation" is a live studio performance of improvisations with field recordings initially used for AF's "Soundguide" piece during Deering Estate's Spring Contemporary 2017. "Soundguide Improvisation" debuted as part of UNTITLED, Radio 2017 and consists of recordings of manatees, grasses, beetles, wind, and water. No manatees were harrassed for these recordings, we were very lucky that they approached our gear.
